GRAB YOUR CLEATS

Grab your cleats and link arms with our FCA ministry! You can impact coaches and athletes in our local community for the Kingdom!

FCA meets coaches and athletes wherever they are-at the Rec. Departments, on Travel Teams, on Campuses, or in Communities-and strives to "lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church."

We need volunteers willing to mobilize so each FCA ministry expands and grows! Together, we can share the Gospel to local coaches and athletes and transform the world by Jesus Christ!

East Georgia FCA shares Jesus with coaches and athletes in the community and on the campus in Emanuel, Montgomery, Tattnall, Toombs, and Treutlen Counties. Search @egafca on Social Media to stay up-to-date with your local FCA ministry!

WHAT ARE SOME WAYS I CAN SERVE WITH FCA?

Board Members-Our East Georgia FCA Leadership Board is a volunteer advisory board of leaders in our community and region who love Jesus Christ, care about coaches and sports, and recognize the incredible platform that athletics provides to impact their area for Jesus Christ.

Character Coaches (formerly Chaplains)-Over time we have seen an ever-growing gap develop between coaching the X's and O's of a specific sport and the development of character. FCA Character Coaches exist to assist the coach in filling this crucial gap in developing the complete athlete. Character Coaches are volunteers that engage, equip and empower coaches and athletes relationally through personal, character, and leadership development. Click here to read more about our FCA Character Coach Initiative, or watch the video below!

Huddle Coaches-Are you a teacher, coach, or faculty member at a local school? Would like to get involved in your school's FCA huddle? The Huddle Coach role may be just what you are looking for!

*NEW* Adopt-a-Team, Coach, or Campus-Small groups of parents and community members (Sunday school classes, businesses, friends, etc.) can adopt an East Georgia FCA Team, Coach, or Campus! These groups will pray for, serve, and support a specific team, coach, or campus in the East Georgia FCA area, and will serve with FCA Staff to transform the world by Jesus Christ!

*NEW* Parent's Huddle-Waiting for your athlete to finish practice or gathering for warm ups before a game could give you a few minutes to gather your fellow parents and pray for your athletes and coaches, or do a short devotion!

FCA Missionaries/Staff-We are looking for diverse, high impact individuals who are called to SEIZE a life of significance, SHARE the love of Christ and SERVE through the lens of sports. Check out www.teamfca.org to learn more about careers with Team FCA, or contact East Georgia FCA for local staff positions!

HOW CAN MY CHILD GET IN THE GAME WITH FCA?

The best way for your child to get in the game with FCA is by joining or leading an FCA Huddle! A Huddle is a small group Bible study or devotion time for coaches and athletes. FCA Huddles meet regularly, on a campus or within a sports team setting, and provide opportunities for spiritual growth, discipleship, leadership roles, and outreach activities. For information on how to start an FCA Huddle, contact our East Georgia FCA Ministry!

WHAT IS FCA?

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is a ministry that challenges coaches and athletes at ANY level to use the powerful platform of sport to reach every coach and every athlete with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. FCA is an organization that meets students and coaches where they are - in their schools and in their community, on the athletic fields and courts.

Through small group Bible studies (Huddles) on the campus and within a team, Campus ministry in local schools, Coaches Huddles, Character Coaches, rec. departments, summer camps, leadership training, weekend retreats, and one-on-one discipleship, we strive to "lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church."
