A Day in the Life of an EGA FCA Intern
Paperwork piled high, batches of burnt coffee, and breaking my neck to answer a phone call is most definitely not the type of internship I'm talking about. Being an East Georgia FCA intern involves building relationships with coaches and athletes through connecting with our local campuses and allowing people to see what our vision for FCA is all about. I am blessed beyond measure to be reminded so graciously every day that my purpose as not only an FCA intern, but also as a follower of Jesus is to present others, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church. If someone would have told me that the highlight of my week would be waking up at 6:00 am to attend a middle school Huddle Meeting, I would have thought they were crazy considering how much of a morning person I am NOT!! All it took was my first week to realize that the kids I encountered for even a brief second already stole my heart. Whenever my alarm clock rings at 6:00 am, my eyes pop open with anticipation and eagerness to see those beautiful souls!!
All for His Glory,
